Quick answer
Makkah to Madinah is roughly 450 km. The Haramain High-Speed Train is faster station to station, but you still need transport from your hotel to the station and from Madinah station to your hotel, with your luggage. A private transfer goes door to door in about 4.5 to 5 hours with one rest stop, which many families and elderly pilgrims find easier. Our published 1448 H rates are fixed per vehicle.

The train suits small groups with light bags who are comfortable with stations. A private car or van suits families with many suitcases, elderly travellers, and anyone who wants to leave right after checkout without a station transfer.
If you prefer the train, we can still arrange your hotel-to-station transfers — that rate is shown below. Check train times and luggage rules on the official Haramain train website before booking.
Most pilgrims leave after Fajr or after breakfast so they reach Madinah before Asr or Maghrib. Tell us your hotel checkout time and we will suggest a departure time.
