Quick answer
In Ramadan, a private vehicle saves your family waiting for a shared bus at the busiest times of day. We time airport transfers and the Makkah–Madinah journey around Iftar, Taraweeh and Suhoor, and price per vehicle, not per person. In the last ten nights, traffic around the Haram is heavily restricted, so we tell you where the car can stop. Ramadan transfers are quoted in writing for your exact dates before you pay.
The hour before Maghrib is the hardest time to travel: roads fill as everyone heads home or to the Haram to break the fast. We plan pickups to avoid arriving in that rush where your flights allow. If a transfer may run over Iftar, carry water and dates to break your fast on the way.
After Taraweeh and in the hours before Suhoor, the streets near the Haram are busy again. For a check-out or an early flight, we agree the pickup time with you in writing so you are not caught between prayers.
In the last ten nights, traffic around the Haram is heavily restricted. The car may not reach hotels closest to the Haram, so the drop-off point can be a walk from the hotel entrance. We tell you where the car can stop and plan help with luggage, especially for elderly pilgrims.
By private car, you travel at your own pace and stop when you need to. By the Haramain train, the journey is quicker, and we arrange a car to and from each station. Book either early: the busiest days are the start of the month, the days before the last ten nights and the days around Eid.
Our transport page shows our published rates and the dates they are valid for. For Ramadan dates, we confirm the price per vehicle in your written quote, together with the vehicle, pickup times and what is included, before you pay anything.
