Quick answer
Madinah to Makkah is roughly 450 km, usually about 4.5 to 5 hours door to door with a rest stop. If you are travelling to Makkah for Umrah, you enter Ihram at the Miqat of Dhul Hulayfah (also called Abyar Ali), which is on the way out of Madinah. Marhaba Haji's driver stops there so you can pray and make your intention, then drives you to your Makkah hotel. The published 1448 H rate is fixed per vehicle.

Dhul Hulayfah is the Miqat for travellers coming from Madinah. Many pilgrims take their shower and put on Ihram clothes at the hotel, then pray at the Miqat mosque and make their intention there. Tell us when you book and the driver will plan the stop.
Once you are in Ihram, the drive is a good time for Talbiyah and rest. Plan to reach Makkah with enough energy to perform Umrah, or rest at the hotel first if you arrive late.
Most families leave after Fajr or after breakfast and reach Makkah in the afternoon. Tell us your hotel checkout time and we will suggest a departure time.
