Hajj 1448 is expected in mid-May 2027. The Haj Committee of India's window for 2027 closed on 24 July 2026, so pilgrims who did not apply can now perform Hajj in 2027 only through a private package operated by a Haj Group Organiser registered with the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Our current Hajj packages are listed below with live per-person prices; GST and TCS are extra as applicable. Before paying anyone, compare written all-in quotes that show the Mina camp category, hotels, distances and number of nights.

Non-shifting packages keep you in one Makkah hotel for the whole stay. You avoid the move and stay close to the Haram, which many families and elderly pilgrims prefer, at a higher price.
No packing up during the busiest week
Stay close to the Haram throughout

Shifting
Makkah hotel plus Aziziyah around the Hajj days
Shifting packages move pilgrims between a hotel near the Haram and accommodation in Aziziyah, closer to Mina, around the Hajj days. They usually cost less, but mean packing up and moving during the busiest week.
Accommodation in Aziziyah, nearer Mina
Usually costs less
Means moving during the busiest week
Each of our package pages states whether it is shifting or non-shifting, and the written quote confirms it.
Where you stay in Mina
Mina camp categories
During the Hajj days pilgrims stay in tents at Mina. Camps are graded A to D: the grade affects how close the camp is to the Jamarat, the tent and bedding, washrooms and food, and it is one of the biggest reasons two Hajj prices differ.
Some packages use Kidana towers instead of tents: multi-storey residential buildings in Mina built by Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. Pilgrims sleep in a building with shared facilities rather than a tent camp.

Camps follow the category allotted by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Always ask which category is included and whether an upgrade is priced separately, and get the answer in writing.

Only with an official Hajj permit
Hajj is allowed only with an official Hajj permit. In the 2026 season Saudi Arabia fined people performing or attempting Hajj without a permit up to SAR 20,000 — including visit-visa holders — and fined those who helped them up to SAR 100,000, multiplied by the number of people involved. The 2027 penalties have not yet been announced.
Offers of Hajj on an Umrah, tourist or visit visa are illegal and put pilgrims at serious risk. Marhaba Haji never offers them.

Hajj package questions
Still deciding?
Our concierge replies on WhatsApp with options and an exact quote for your dates.
01How much does a Hajj package from India cost in 2027?
Our current Hajj packages are listed on this page with live per-person prices; GST and TCS are extra as applicable. Private Hajj costs more than the Haj Committee route, and prices change with the Mina camp category, hotels, room sharing and number of nights, so compare written all-in totals.
02When is Hajj 2027?
Hajj 1448 falls on 8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah and is expected in mid-May 2027. The exact dates depend on the sighting of the Dhul Hijjah moon, so they can shift by a day.
03Can I still apply through the Haj Committee for Hajj 2027?
No. Haj Committee of India applications for 2027 closed on 24 July 2026 and the draw was held on 30 July 2026. Only applicants already on the waiting list can still be confirmed.
04Who operates private Hajj packages?
Private Hajj from India is operated by Haj Group Organisers registered with the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Marhaba Haji books private Hajj through registered organisers; whoever you book with, check this before paying.
05What is the difference between shifting and non-shifting Hajj?
Shifting packages move you between a hotel near the Haram and accommodation in Aziziyah, nearer Mina, around the Hajj days, and usually cost less. Non-shifting packages keep you in one Makkah hotel throughout, at a higher price.
06What are the Mina camp categories?
Mina tent camps are graded A to D. The grade affects the camp's distance from the Jamarat, the tents, washrooms and food, and it is one of the main reasons Hajj prices differ. Some packages use Kidana towers — multi-storey buildings in Mina — instead of tents. Ask which is included, in writing.
07Are GST and TCS included in the price?
The per-person prices shown are before GST and TCS, which are extra as applicable. Your written quote shows the all-in total before you pay anything.
08How long is a Hajj package?
Private packages range from short stays of around two weeks to five weeks or more. The number of nights for each of our packages is shown in the table on this page.
09What documents do I need for a Hajj package?
A valid machine-readable passport, passport-size photographs with a white background, and identity documents such as PAN or Aadhaar. We list exactly what your package needs in the written quote.
10Can I perform Hajj on an Umrah or visit visa?
No. Hajj needs an official Hajj permit. In 2026 Saudi Arabia fined people attempting Hajj without one up to SAR 20,000, and fined those who helped them up to SAR 100,000 for each person involved.
11Can elderly parents go for Hajj?
Yes, if they meet Saudi health requirements; serious conditions such as kidney failure needing dialysis are barred. Elderly pilgrims should travel with a fit companion, and wheelchair help can be arranged — tell us when you enquire.
12I live in the Gulf. Can I book Hajj?
It depends on where you live. Saudi residents with a valid iqama can book domestic Hajj on Nusuk, and Qatar and the UAE set their own resident rules. Our guide for Indians in the Gulf explains each route.
