What customized Umrah means
DIY Umrah, without doing it all yourself.
A customized Umrah package — often called DIY Umrah, independent Umrah or a tailor-made Umrah land package — puts the shape of the journey in your hands. You decide when you travel, which hotels you stay in, how many nights you spend in Makkah and Madinah, and whether transport is shared or entirely private.
What you do not have to do is chase suppliers. We hold the hotel bookings, the airport and intercity transport, the guided ziarah, the Rawdah permit assistance and the on-ground support, then hand you one clear plan with one clear price.
This is the way most of our pilgrims now travel, and it works equally well whether you are flying out of Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow or Bengaluru, or arriving from Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, London, Toronto or New York.

What is a customized Umrah package?
A customized Umrah package — also called DIY Umrah, independent Umrah or a tailor-made Umrah land package — is built around your own dates, chosen hotels in Makkah and Madinah, number of nights in each city, room type and private transport. Instead of joining a fixed group departure, you travel on your own schedule with everything on the ground arranged for you.
Who can book a customized Umrah with Marhaba Haji?
Indian passport holders living anywhere — in any city in India, or resident in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and beyond. We are not limited to any one city or state.
What is the difference between DIY Umrah and a group Umrah package?
A group Umrah package has fixed dates, a fixed hotel plan and a group leader, and everyone travels together. A DIY or customized Umrah is private: you choose the travel window, the hotel category, the length of stay in each city, and whether you want shared or fully private transport. Pricing is quoted for your exact plan.
Are flights included in a customized Umrah package?
You can arrange your own flights from any city or country, or ask us to quote flights alongside the land arrangements. Many pilgrims travelling from the Gulf, the UK or North America prefer to hold their own tickets and let us handle everything from arrival at Jeddah or Madinah onwards.
Is the Umrah visa included?
Umrah visa assistance is included only within eligible full packages. We do not sell standalone Umrah visas or visa-only services.
Can you arrange Rawdah permits and ziarah on a customized itinerary?
Yes. Rawdah (Riyadul Jannah) permit assistance, guided ziarah in Makkah and Madinah, a scholar or guide, and private ground transport can all be added to a customized plan.
How many nights should I plan in Makkah and Madinah?
Most customized itineraries run between 7 and 15 nights, commonly split with more nights in Makkah. We will suggest a split based on your travel window, budget and whether elders or young children are travelling.
