01Do Indians need a visa for Dubai?
Yes, in most cases. Indian passport holders usually need a UAE tourist visa arranged before travel. Those with a valid US visa or Green Card, a UK or EU visa or residence, and under recent rules a visa or residence from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore or South Korea, can usually get a visa on arrival instead.
02Can Indians enter Qatar without a visa?
Indian passport holders have usually been able to enter Qatar visa-free for up to 30 days if they meet the conditions — a passport valid for 6 months, a return ticket and a hotel booking. A Hayya tourist e-visa arranged in advance is the alternative, especially if you stay with family.
03I live in the UAE. Do I need a visa for Oman, Qatar or Bahrain?
Usually yes, but GCC residents often have simpler options: a GCC-resident e-visa for the UAE or Qatar, and possibly a visa on arrival or at the border for Oman and Bahrain. Eligibility can depend on your residence permit and profession.
04Can my parents visit me in the Gulf on a family visit visa?
Usually yes, if you live there on a valid residence permit and meet the salary and relationship rules. You apply as the sponsor. If you don't qualify, a tourist visa is the usual alternative — our desk can arrange that.
05Is a visit visa a work visa?
No. Tourist, family visit and business visit visas do not allow you to work or take a job. Be careful of anyone offering a job through a visit visa.
06Are these results final?
No. This tool gives general guidance. Gulf visa rules change often, so we confirm the current requirements and fees in writing before you pay, and you should check with your airline before flying.
