Wind towers in Dubai's Al Fahidi historical neighbourhoodEstimated from ₹48,000 pp

United Arab Emirates

Dubai & Abu Dhabi

Old Dubai by abra, the desert at sunset and Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — an easy family break, close to home.

Short direct flights from many Indian cities, family hotels and halal food everywhere. We keep to the calmer side of the Emirates: the wind-tower lanes of Al Fahidi, an abra across the Creek to the gold and spice souks, a desert drive with no music or dance shows, and a day in Abu Dhabi for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Going for Umrah too? Dubai also works as an Umrah+ stopover.

  • Al Fahidi lanes and an abra across Dubai Creek
  • Gold and spice souks in Deira
  • Family desert drive, no music or dance shows
  • Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi

Best time: November to March for cool days outdoors. April to October is very hot; plan indoor days and early starts.

Old merchant buildings and a wind tower in Souq Waqif, DohaEstimated from ₹26,000 pp

Qatar

Doha

The Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif and the inland sea — a short, calm Gulf break or a stopover on the way.

Many Qatar Airways flights from India connect through Doha, so a two- or four-night break is easy to add. The Museum of Islamic Art sits on the Corniche, Souq Waqif keeps the old trading lanes, and a desert drive reaches Khor Al Adaid, where the dunes meet the sea. Hotels are booked through the official Discover Qatar website, which the visa on arrival requires.

  • Museum of Islamic Art and its park on the Corniche
  • Souq Waqif's old trading lanes
  • Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque, Qatar's state mosque
  • Dhow ride along the Corniche
  • Desert drive to Khor Al Adaid, the inland sea

Best time: November to March. Summer is very hot and humid; keep outings to mornings and evenings.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat at sunriseEstimated from ₹50,000 pp

Oman

Oman

Muscat's Grand Mosque, Nizwa's fort and the green Salalah monsoon — the gentlest country in the Gulf.

Oman is quiet, safe and close: short direct flights reach Muscat from several Indian cities. In the cool months we pair Muscat's Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Mutrah souq with Nizwa's fort, the mountains and a desert camp. From July to September the Salalah coast in the south turns green in the khareef monsoon, when the rest of the Gulf is at its hottest.

  • Nizwa Fort and its old souq
  • Desert camp in the Wahiba (Sharqiya) Sands
  • Salalah in the khareef: Wadi Darbat and the frankincense coast

Halal holiday questions

Booking, flights, halal checks, combining with Umrah and pricing — what families ask us most before planning a holiday.

Dubai & Abu Dhabi halal holiday

Still deciding?

Our concierge replies on WhatsApp with suitable stays and a written quote for your dates.

01Can I book these holidays online?

No. Each holiday is planned with our concierge team. Send your dates and family details and we reply with suitable hotels or villas and a written quote.

02Are flights included?

No. The prices are estimates for hotels or villas, transfers and the listed tours. Flights from India are quoted separately for your dates.

03Is everything guaranteed halal?

We confirm halal dining with each hotel or resort, ask them to clear alcohol from your room or villa, and check that private pools are not overlooked. We send what each property has confirmed in writing before you pay.

04Can you combine a holiday with Umrah?

Yes, before your Umrah or after it. Plan it outside the Saudi part of your trip, because leaving Saudi Arabia ends a single-entry visa. For Egypt, Uzbekistan, Turkey or Dubai see our Umrah+ stopovers.

05Are these prices final?

No. They are planning estimates per person, twin sharing, and change with dates, room type and season. You get the final price in writing before you pay anything.
