Long-distance transfer

Riyadh to Madinah by Private Car

Quick answer

Riyadh to Madinah is roughly 840 km by road, usually about 9 hours with prayer and rest stops. Marhaba Haji collects your family from your Riyadh address and drives you to your hotel near Masjid an-Nabawi. If you continue to Makkah for Umrah afterwards, you enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah on the way from Madinah, and we can drive that leg too. Long-distance transfers are priced per vehicle and quoted in writing for your date before you pay.

Starting with Madinah

Many families from Riyadh visit Madinah first, then travel to Makkah for Umrah. In that case you do not need Ihram for the drive to Madinah. You enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah when you leave Madinah for Makkah, and our driver stops there on request.

How the price works

Long-distance transfers are not on our published rate chart. Send your date, pickup area, passenger count and bags, and we reply with a price per vehicle, quoted in writing before you pay. Ask us to quote the Madinah to Makkah leg and the return to Riyadh at the same time.
