Your options
- Book the night before your arrival. The room is then yours when you arrive — the most reliable choice for families and elderly pilgrims arriving tired and in ihram.
- Request early check-in in writing. Some hotels agree, but it's often subject to availability on the day.
- Leave luggage and go for Umrah. Most hotels hold bags. You can perform Umrah and return for check-in — but only if everyone is rested enough.
Things to plan
- Book your Nusuk Umrah permit for a time that matches how you'll actually feel on arrival.
- Keep a small bag with essentials (medicines, phone charger, a change of clothes for after Umrah) out of the main suitcase.
- If travelling with elderly parents, paying for the extra night is usually worth it.
