Harab Rasheed
Who benefits most
- Elderly or unwell pilgrims who can't walk to every prayer.
- Families with young children who need the room for naps and breaks.
- Pilgrims on a once-in-a-lifetime trip who value the view itself.
Who may not need it
- Fit pilgrims who will spend most hours inside the Haram — the room is mostly for sleeping.
Know what you're paying for
- "Haram view" can mean a partial view of the mosque, not the Kaaba.
- "Kaaba view" rooms vary by floor and angle; ask for photos taken from that room type.
- View rooms are often in tall towers — check lift waiting times at prayer times.
A middle path: book a view room for part of your stay (for example, the last nights) and a standard room for the rest.
Next step: our guide to Makkah hotels with Kaaba or Haram view explains the room types and what to check.
