Which night is Laylat al-Qadr in 2027?

Can you tell us the exact night so we can plan around it?

In short

No one can name the night in advance. Laylat al-Qadr is sought in the last ten nights of Ramadan, especially the odd nights. In 2027 these are expected to begin on the evenings of 27 February and 1, 3, 5 and 7 March. Plan to be there for all of them rather than a single night.

What we can say

  • It is sought in the last ten nights, with particular hope on the odd nights.
  • Many hold the 27th night in special regard; others spread their effort across all ten.
  • Because the start of Ramadan depends on the moon sighting, even the odd nights can move by a day.

What this means for your trip

  • A stay covering the whole last ten is safer than flying in for one night.
  • Expect the Haram to be at its fullest on the odd nights, especially the 27th.

Next step: see the last ten nights in Makkah.
