I'm Indian, living in Dubai. When should I apply for a Ramadan Umrah visa?

In short

It depends on your passport. Indian passport holders usually take an Umrah visa; with GCC residence or a valid US, UK or Schengen visa they may qualify for the Saudi tourist e-visa instead. GCC citizens need no visa. Apply in good time, because the visa must cover your whole stay, and Umrah itself needs a Nusuk permit.

By passport

  • Indian passport: we help with the Umrah visa within eligible packages, or through our visa service. Check your route with our visa checker.
  • GCC citizens: no visa needed.
  • British, American, EU, Australian and many others: usually the Saudi tourist e-visa, applied for yourself.

For Ramadan

  • Make sure the visa covers every day of your stay, including Eid if you stay for it.
  • Book the Umrah permit in Nusuk for your dates.

Next step: use the visa checker, then ask for a written quote for your Ramadan dates.
