Harab Rasheed
What to fit in
- Prayers in Masjid an-Nabawi — the heart of the visit.
- A Rawdah visit (needs a Nusuk permit; slots aren't always available on the day you want).
- Ziyarat: Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud and the martyrs' graves, Masjid al-Qiblatain and other historic sites — usually half a day.
- Rest, especially after travel or before going on to Makkah.
Typical plans
- 3 days: prayers, Rawdah and a ziyarat tour.
- 4–5 days: the same at a gentler pace, with time to repeat favourite moments.
- About 8 days: some pilgrims plan this to pray forty consecutive prayers in the mosque; scholars differ about the narration behind this practice, so treat it as a personal choice.
Madinah first or Makkah first? Many families start in Madinah to settle in before the more demanding days of Umrah; flying into Madinah also means you don't need ihram on the flight.
Next step: tell us your total days and we'll suggest a balanced split.
