Uzbekistan · Tashkent, Samarkand & Bukhara · 4–7 night stopover
Imam al-Bukhari, the Registan and Bukhara's old city — the land of the hadith scholars.
Uzbekistan must come before you first enter Saudi Arabia or after you finally leave it. On a single-entry Saudi visa it can never go in the middle.
Uzbekistan first
Fly to Jeddah in Ihram, entering it before the Miqat, or fly to Madinah first and enter Ihram at Dhul Hulaifah.
Umrah first
Fly to Tashkent after your Umrah, travel the three cities, then fly home.
Imam al-Bukhari, Imam al-Tirmidhi and Imam al-Maturidi all came from this land. Visit the Imam al-Bukhari complex outside Samarkand, pray under the blue domes of the Registan, walk Bukhara's old city and see one of the oldest Qur'an manuscripts in Tashkent. The high-speed Afrosiyob train links the cities, so the days stay comfortable for families.
Best time: April to June and September to October. Summers are very hot and winters are cold.

Pair it with your Umrah
Uzbekistan is a flight, not a drive. We plan it as the first or last leg of your trip; flying Tashkent → Madinah first lets you visit Madinah before you put on Ihram.
Adab & halal notes
Not on a single-entry Saudi visa. Leaving Saudi Arabia ends that visa, so you could be refused re-entry. Plan Uzbekistan before you first enter Saudi Arabia or after you finally leave. If you hold a multiple-entry visa, check its conditions with us first.

Yes, as an optional 2-day trip to Termez in the south, by domestic flight or a long private drive. Choose the 7-night option or add it to any plan.
We visit the graves of the scholars the way the Sunnah teaches: give salam, make du'a for them and leave. Some local customs at tombs go beyond this; our guides explain the difference and do not lead those practices.
