Türkiye · Istanbul & Bursa · 3–5 night stopover
Eyüp Sultan, the Sacred Relics and the Ottoman mosques — Istanbul with the family, the halal way.
Turkey must come before you first enter Saudi Arabia or after you finally leave it. On a single-entry Saudi visa it can never go in the middle.
Turkey first
Fly Istanbul → Jeddah in Ihram, entering it before the Miqat, or fly to Madinah first.
Umrah first
Rest in Istanbul after your Umrah, then fly home.
Istanbul has the grave of the Sahabi Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (RA), the great Ottoman mosques, and the Sacred Relics kept at Topkapı Palace. Spend unhurried days between Eyüp, Sultanahmet and Süleymaniye, take a private boat on the Bosphorus, and see Bursa, the first Ottoman capital. Halal food is everywhere and the adhan is never far away.
Best time: April to June and September to November — mild weather. Winters are cold and wet.

Pair it with your Umrah
Turkey is a flight, not a drive. We plan it as the first or last leg of your trip; flying Istanbul → Madinah first lets you visit Madinah before you put on Ihram.
Adab & halal notes
Not on a single-entry Saudi visa. Leaving Saudi Arabia ends that visa, so you could be refused re-entry. Plan Turkey before you first enter Saudi Arabia or after you finally leave. If you hold a multiple-entry visa, check its conditions with us first.
Yes. Most Indian passport holders apply for a sticker visa through the Turkish visa centre, which can take a few weeks, so apply early. If you hold certain valid US, UK, Schengen or Irish visas or residence permits, you may qualify for a Turkey e-visa instead. We confirm the right option for each traveller when we quote.
