Ramadan Ready
How it works
What Ramadan Ready is and isn't, how every question is checked against published sources and approved by our team, how we keep your data private, and our public corrections log.
Training, not worship
Ramadan Ready is training, not worship. It checks your preparation and knowledge, never your fasting, prayer, recitation or giving. It never asks what you do in worship, and only Allah accepts a fast.
It is not a fatwa service and not medical advice. Where scholars differ, a question says so and suggests you ask a scholar you trust. During Ramadan, the Daily Question's lantern rests: there's no streak to keep, so it never looks like a fasting tracker.
How every question is checked
Every question and explanation is written by our team, checked against a published source (the Qur'an, the hadith collections, recognised fatwa bodies, or official health guidance), and approved by a named member of our team before it can be published.
Questions on matters where the schools of thought differ are also signed off by a scholar before they are published.
Arrangements in Makkah and Madinah, and yearly dates and rates, change from season to season. Questions that depend on them are checked again before each Ramadan.
Health questions give published guidance only and always point you to your own doctor. They are not medical advice.
This game never gives prayer, Suhoor or Iftar times, never states a Zakat amount, and never recommends a charity.
When a published question changes in substance, we say so below in the corrections log.
We don't issue religious rulings. For a question about your own situation, please ask a scholar you trust.
Your privacy
You can play without an account. As a guest, your browser keeps an anonymous code so your progress isn't lost; we store only that code, your answers, and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address used only to prevent abuse. Your answer to "Are you travelling for Umrah this Ramadan?" and whose Ramadan dates you follow stay on your phone; we don't store them.
Saved accounts are for adults (18+) only. Anything you write for yourself in the game is private: only you can read it, and it never appears on share images, analytics or any staff screen.
You can delete your game data at any time from your profile. Records of players inactive for 24 months are deleted automatically. Anonymous answer data (with no link to you) is kept to improve the training and our guides.
