Haj Committee Hajj from Mumbai
Mumbai is one of the embarkation points listed in the Haj Committee of India's guidelines for Haj 2027, and applicants give two embarkation preferences when they apply. For Haj 2026, the Committee's total cost from Mumbai was Rs 3,50,250, including Rs 1,06,934 airfare; HCoI announces each year's final cost separately.
The Committee's normal Hajj lasts about 35 to 45 days. Its Short Haj package, with only 2 to 3 days in Madinah, also runs from Mumbai, for up to 10,000 pilgrims across India.
The 2027 window closed on 24 July 2026. Applicants left on the waiting list can still be confirmed as seats free up; everyone else can plan for the Haj 2028 window or take the private route.
Private Hajj departing Mumbai with Marhaba Haji
The packages on this page depart from Mumbai (BOM); each shows its nights, hotels, Mina camp category and live per-person price. Marhaba Haji books private Hajj through registered Haj Group Organisers.
We take bookings from our Bengaluru office by phone or WhatsApp, so you do not need to visit in person. The written quote confirms the departure date, hotels and all-in price before you pay anything.
Joining a Mumbai departure from elsewhere
If you live outside Mumbai — elsewhere in Maharashtra, in another state or abroad — you can travel to Mumbai yourself, have us arrange the connection, or join the group directly in Saudi Arabia, depending on the package. The written quote confirms which.
Choosing a package
Shifting vs non-shifting Hajj packages
Non-shifting
One Makkah hotel for the whole stay
Non-shifting packages keep you in one Makkah hotel for the whole stay. You avoid the move and stay close to the Haram, which many families and elderly pilgrims prefer, at a higher price.
Shifting packages move pilgrims between a hotel near the Haram and accommodation in Aziziyah, closer to Mina, around the Hajj days. They usually cost less, but mean packing up and moving during the busiest week.
Each of our package pages states whether it is shifting or non-shifting, and the written quote confirms it.
Where you stay in Mina
Mina camp categories
During the Hajj days pilgrims stay in tents at Mina. Camps are graded A to D: the grade affects how close the camp is to the Jamarat, the tent and bedding, washrooms and food, and it is one of the biggest reasons two Hajj prices differ.
Some packages use Kidana towers instead of tents: multi-storey residential buildings in Mina built by Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. Pilgrims sleep in a building with shared facilities rather than a tent camp.
Category A
Top grade
Category B
Upper grade
Category C
Standard grade
Category D
Entry grade
Kidana towers
Multi-storey buildings
Camps follow the category allotted by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Always ask which category is included and whether an upgrade is priced separately, and get the answer in writing.

Only with an official Hajj permit
Hajj is allowed only with an official Hajj permit. In the 2026 season Saudi Arabia fined people performing or attempting Hajj without a permit up to SAR 20,000 — including visit-visa holders — and fined those who helped them up to SAR 100,000, multiplied by the number of people involved. The 2027 penalties have not yet been announced.
Offers of Hajj on an Umrah, tourist or visit visa are illegal and put pilgrims at serious risk. Marhaba Haji never offers them.
