Madinah

Rehearse your days in Madinah: the journey from Makkah, the Prophet's Mosque, the Rawdah permit, visits around the city and good manners.

Most pilgrims also spend days in Madinah. Each part of the visit has its own permits, routes and manners.

Every step here follows the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's visit guidance. We don't issue rulings: where scholars differ, we say so.

A taste of this World

From Makkah to Madinah

The Umrah visa lets you move freely between the cities of the Kingdom while it's valid, so most pilgrims spend days in Madinah too.

The Ministry's guide lists the ways to get there:

  • The Haramain High-Speed Train.
  • Direct flights to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport.
  • By land, by bus or car.

In a group, follow the transport your Umrah company has arranged.
